About this Project
This modern kitchen remodeling project fulfilled the dreams of a busy Minnetonka couple who had long lived with a kitchen that felt dark and confining, and was disconnected from the rest of the house.
The kitchen space was expanded by integrating an un-used dining room and removing much of this Minnetonka home’s living room wall. This allowed visual access to the front entry and interaction between rooms. Five 8′ tall patio doors were added in the kitchen to form a curtain wall that opened up to stunning views and lots of natural light. Finally, the modern kitchen was transformed to reflect the aesthetic preferences of the Minnetonka homeowners with stainless steel appliances, a warm color palette and various natural materials.
